2/ We shouldn’t confuse disease with its symptoms. The disease is a sociopathic economic system, beholden to nothing but its financial bottom line, that has infected every organ of our society - including & especially the govt. The symptoms will be there until we heal the disease

3/ $ out of politics. Appropriate regulation of economy. Repeal ‘17 tax bill. End corporate subsidies. Defund & demilitarize police. Med4All. Free tuition. UBI. End of corporate rule by health ins/Big Pharma; private prisons; NRA; oil & gas, Big Ag, chem, food & defense industry.

4/ We either have a govt “of the people, by the people & for the people” - or a govt “of the corporations, by the corporations & for the corporations.” This generation will decide. We’ll either descend into neo-fascist darkness, or have “a new birth of freedom” - #LikeLincolnSaid

These generations. Gen X, Millenials, and Gen Z. We’re all in this.

Don’t kid yourself. A lot of people older than that are in this too. The younger you are the more you know certain things but the older you are the more you know certain other things. Separating ourselves by generations limits us at this point. We’re all one generation of adults.

I wasn’t excluding Boomers. My parents are Boomers. I am just saying that they’ve mostly retired. And it’s up to us (Gen X) and the following generations.

And actually that was exactly my point. These false divisions are really bugging me.

I get it. And retired people still vote - statistically in even greater numbers. The change won’t happen unless all of us are in.

Absolutely. Was more talking about who needs to actually get out there and start doing the work.

It’s OUR mess now. Even if inherited. Best start cleaning it up.
