Even before Covid, tens of millions of Americans suffered chronic economic tension and anxiety. 40M were already hungry & now things are even worse. Covid is on the rise...evictions have begun. And our Congresspeople cannot be bothered to give direct cash relief. Vote. Them. Out.

First of all, many are not. And if going back to work is so good for our mental health and self-esteem, why did all those major corporations get hundreds of millions that they don’t need & aren’t even required to spend on their workers?

As an MD MPH MS I was for the shut down when we knew less about the virus and were at risk of overwhelming our health system with the overlapping flu season. Now more people are dying FROM the shutdown--health conditions, poverty, mental health issues.
