Because historically world powers have always invested in their military to remain the “most” powerful. It’s a man’s world. That’s how they save nations...by fighting. From the beginning of time and it remains as such, even in the most unsophisticated parts of the world.

did you know that if we cut the us military budget in half, we’d have enough money to completely eradicate homelessness in the US while still having well over 200 billion dollars left to improve quality of life for us, & WOULD STILL HAVE THE MOST EXPENSIVE MILITARY IN THE WORLD
