Why only 10%?
Why do we spend more on the military than the next 11 nations combined? I have a better idea: Cut Pentagon spending by 10% and invest it in the fight to end homelessness, hunger and poverty in the richest country on Earth. nitter.vloup.ch/i/broadcasts/1DX…

That says she wants additional oversight, which is hardly anti-science

She has every right to say her piece. It's called the First Amendment.
They might not, but 10% is a hell of a lot more digestible of a 1st step than going straight to 50%+.

Well you can’t have no army at all. You don’t need an attacking army, but you have to have defense. I’d say no new money for tanks and stupid things we don’t need currently
That sounds nice, but McConnell isn't going to let enough of his Senators defect anyway, so you may as well go big. I'm under no illusions that Bernie will get this Senate to vote on cutting the Pentagon's budget at all; but you'd feed into your base's energy by going stronger.

I mean it’s literally been increased for the last 5 years straight 10% in 2017 2.6% in 2018 3.6% in 2019 10% isn’t anywhere near enough. The military is spending more now than at the peak of the Iraq & Afghanistan war. This is ridiculous.

Umm i don't blame you for not understanding the fact that a house and a car are of the same luxury...but i can also understand how the house is more atractive to leftists who are notorious basement dwellers.😅
