Why do we spend more on the military than the next 11 nations combined? I have a better idea: Cut Pentagon spending by 10% and invest it in the fight to end homelessness, hunger and poverty in the richest country on Earth. nitter.vloup.ch/i/broadcasts/1DX…

Agree... why not capping the budget to the sum of the top 5 spenders in the world? That should be *plenty* to keep the country safe... the rest, education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc. ... sounds pretty easy to me, but what the hell do I know, I'm not a billionaire
