The status quo never seeks to change itself but only to perpetuate itself. The Senate Republican police reform bill is basically no reform at all - which should surprise no one. Winning the Senate back from the Repubs is as important as winning the WH. #AndrewRomanoff #BetsySweet

Tell that to the author Tim Scott who was a victim of police racial profiling. Per his speech, that is what this is about. DEMs can't let a Republican effort pass. It had nothing to do with the content of the legislation it was the "who" that mattered. No discussion or debate?

That is NOT all this is about. It’s about chokeholds, qualified immunity, no-knock warrants and more.

Yes, a disappointing effort to check a box without really addressing the issues. The House Bill, while not everything, is a great start. We apply statistics to everything else to improve it, we need to do the same with policing to identify what is causing the most harm

Do you really think that Dems would do better? They are all on the same team!

I have followed you for years and always believed you were intuitive. You couldn’t be more wrong regarding your party. There are some serious forces behind these dem protests and we are very close to losing this country. Our only hope is the Republican Party. Wisen up Marianne.

Joe Biden is the status quo. Maybe let's talk about that.
