As bad as the assault on our democracy becomes, that’s how good we have to become to push it back. This whole thing is a call not only for changes in government but for changes in us. We’re the ones who let it get this bad and we’re the ones who are going to have to change it now

It is the eleventh hour-but it is not midnight yet. We got here late-but damn we got here. And we’re going to slam it like nobody’s business.” Marianne Williamson

The definition of insanity is voting for Biden, whose spent 40 years making things "this bad".

The Trump economy was threatening to bring profound social change through high employment and rising wages. That's an existential threat to the Democrats and their lust for power. People who take responsibility for themselves won't become government dependents.

Yes, Marianne!!!! This election is about all of US. Who are we as a nation? We will find out that answer in November.

We are not “the ones who let it get this bad”. Leadership of the 2 parties have designed a system to feed the power of the Parties. Taking care of the citizenry is not their objective. The 2 Parties have caused this! Not the we the people! Both Parties defile the public trust!

Shouldn’t we skip party lines and just look at crimes on both sides? Maybe start with Clinton financial crimes, moved to GW war crimes, Obama war and financial and abuse of power crimes? Then if there is something with Trump go ahead

The problem is, it's far easier to do damage than rebuild– to destroy than create. So we have to put WAY MORE EFFORT in to counter, let alone reverse, the damage being done. (Not "just as good as") And I'm not sure we're up to the task, to be honest.

Indeed, we are (going to have to change). And that starts with looking within ourselves. Not for blame, because we inherited much of the troubles from our fore-bearers, who did not realize how unmanageable things would become as they struggled through wars and depressions.

True that. As I wrote in my latest song, I'm the only change that I can make today. youtube.com/aZIMr6z8lw8
