To Dems in KY who took a stand last night for a progressive alternative @Booker4KY - refusing to acquiesce to a paternalistic machine that insists it knows better when clearly it doesn’t - you deserve a million kudos. You’ve paved the way and showed the rest of us how it’s done.

There were 2 strong progressives in the race & I endorsed who I felt was the best one to beat McConnell. But voters in KY are the decider’s, not me. They chose Booker & I’m thrilled to endorse him now. What’s important is that a progressive defeated the centrist, and I’m all in.

I appreciate how you are willing to be wrong about something while still fighting for the right goals, lots of people could learn about that

I don’t think it’s about “wrong.” Broihier was a great candidate too. But the people of Kentucky know better what is right for them, I support that, and I’m thrilled they chose a progressive. Booker is great too and he pulled off an extraordinary accomplishment.

The two progressives were no doubt taking votes from each-other, helping the establishment candidate. She may yet win (as votes are still being counted). How can we avoid this going forward?
