1/ NY and KY have important primaries today; I think they’ll show a political awakening in a lot of places. The days of thinking primaries don’t matter all that much are over; chronic political disengagement on the part of many people who used to sit it out are over.

2/Americans are often slow to wake up to certain things, but once we do wake up we slam it like nobody’s business. We’re like a giant who’s been sleeping, now starting to rouse, looking around and saying “What the hell is going on here??”

3/ We know what’s going on, we can’t pretend anymore that we don’t, & we’re going to do something about it. One major factor is this: millions are voting for the 1st time this year who weren’t even born in the 20th C. They have no reason or desire to be shackled by its illusions.

Mindset of 21st-C different from the mindset of 20th, as 20th-C mindset was different from 19th. The only survivable option for the human race is to evolve from a “me” orientation to a “we” orientation, from mechanistic to holistic, from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line

I’m in NY I voted in person and early I was the second person there at my voting place I wanted to minimize my potential exposure. I think NY will be happy with the results!

I usually would sleep through the primary season until the front runners appeared, then I’d cast my vote. That was until you showed up @marwilliamson . You gave new meaning to the presidential primary which has trickled down to the down ballot candidates too! Thank you 🙏

And when we answer truthfully we will say that we have been implementing liberal policies for 60+ years that have screwed up the traditional black family and community terribly!

The bigger problem Is that outrage has rapidly become so devalued that ordinary members of society can no longer leverage it for the most important good of all: Social peace.
