1/ NY and KY have important primaries today; I think they’ll show a political awakening in a lot of places. The days of thinking primaries don’t matter all that much are over; chronic political disengagement on the part of many people who used to sit it out are over.

2/Americans are often slow to wake up to certain things, but once we do wake up we slam it like nobody’s business. We’re like a giant who’s been sleeping, now starting to rouse, looking around and saying “What the hell is going on here??”

3/ We know what’s going on, we can’t pretend anymore that we don’t, & we’re going to do something about it. One major factor is this: millions are voting for the 1st time this year who weren’t even born in the 20th C. They have no reason or desire to be shackled by its illusions.

Mindset of 21st-C different from the mindset of 20th, as 20th-C mindset was different from 19th. The only survivable option for the human race is to evolve from a “me” orientation to a “we” orientation, from mechanistic to holistic, from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line

Primaries will continue to not matter as long as both corporate parties rig them for their own benefit. Change has to come from outside the terminally corrupt party system.

They can only rig them when people are asleep. When people awaken they override corporate influence. Thinking change can only happen from the outside is surrendering govt to corporate influence. Nothing enlightened about that. System not “terminally” corrupt; only until we fix it

You are right Marion, people want to be Involved. They don’t want to just vote and go home

PLEASE RETWEET! Go out and buy as many inexpensive chairs you can afford and share them with as many people in line as you can. Then encourage people in the same line to do the same thing while saving their spaces. We are all in this together. Let's act like it .
