I read the article ... Thank You! ... It does seem as though we have slipped away from that original agreement ... I wonder if that agreement ... that the author refers to ... was ever put into writing ... if it was ... It would be interesting to read and see who signed it!

Capitalism rewards those who add value to the market and DOESN’T those who dont. Part of what it makes it a beautiful economic model.. it plays favorites with nobody.

capitalism is unfixable, like the pigs. hence the rightward slide of all socdem welfare states n the bitter neoliberal reaction to the very modest new deal. the state itself is dependent on capitalism, even in regulated form, n will never overturn it, or even maintain regulation
