marianne i’m really disappointed in you for this. i hope you’ll reconsider and endorse the only candidate that has a chance of beating the awful candidate Amy McGrath, @Booker4KY

Replying to @dylclair @Booker4KY
I understand the argument, and ultimately it’s for Kentuckians to decide. But it seems to me we should have our eye on the person who can beat McConnell. Democrats keep leaving rural America out of our thinking as well as our strategy & it loses elections for us all the time.

Why, because he’s white? Rural KY is a HUGE part of Rep Booker’s campaign. (From the hood to the holler). As a person who grew up in rural KY, he’s connecting with folks all over KY & polling VERY well in rural areas.

I think both of them are good but I prefer Broihier. It’s a choice to be made by Kentuckians of course.

How Mike would do in the general is completely irrelevant when he has zero chance of winning the primary. Also, if you look at the crosstabs of this poll, Mike did NOT do well with rural Democrats. There is no valid argument for supporting Mike at this point. Booker is the one.
