He shouldn’t have been killed but he also shouldn’t have taken the taser from the cop, tried to run away and shot the taser at the cop. This isn’t a clear case of police wrongdoing. Still a tragedy he lost his life. Policing policy needs reform.

Being charged with murder is not the same as being convicted and serving serious jail time. It's also not the same as changing the laws to make such convictions routine.
