We need to transition from a measure of Gross National Product to Gross National Happiness, recognizing all the factors that go into human happiness and working back from there. Health, education, fulfilling work & community connection should be the primary goals of public policy

We need a metamodern process politics that has a much wider and more relevant gauge of progress. In NZ they are making moves in this direction, but nowhere is yet fully addressing vibrant welfare in terms of addressing: sustainability, alienation, and equitable distribution.

We need to concern ourselves more with whether that baby is well fed and well educated. Help people be fulfilled; fulfilled people are more creative and productive, and that’s where money comes from. Right now we have things upside down.
