my guess is they want Congress to address it in statute rather than overturning their own Court precedent

Marianne we need to put the heat on California Congress people who are not on board. It has cross-ideological and bipartisan support across the state with co-sponsors across the Bay Area. (However Nancy Pelosi is not onboard 😞) Help us convince them by rallying our forces.
