I know it’s important we go through all this, but I long for the day when we no longer need to identify ourselves by sex or sexuality or color or ethnicity or religion or nationality. Every day I think we should take a minute to remember that ultimately we’re all just people.

Imagine a world where every fruit tasted and looked the same. It would just be called fruit and there would be a little less wonder in the world. Less flavor. Less to experience. I love all the fruits of the world. Some are my favorites, but I dont hate the other fruits.

I think this is half right but half wrong. We're all people at the end of the day and should be respected equally, but we also will always have unique identities based on culture, spirituality, sexuality, gender identity, etc. that should be celebrated, not suppressed.
