I know it’s important we go through all this, but I long for the day when we no longer need to identify ourselves by sex or sexuality or color or ethnicity or religion or nationality. Every day I think we should take a minute to remember that ultimately we’re all just people.

Yes, we're the most sentient animals on our planet with some fascinating variations. Hopefully empathy will allow us to see those variations the same way we now regard people with brown, green and blue eyes who have many different occupations & play many different sports.
