I know it’s important we go through all this, but I long for the day when we no longer need to identify ourselves by sex or sexuality or color or ethnicity or religion or nationality. Every day I think we should take a minute to remember that ultimately we’re all just people.

I empathize. And yet, in the end, as you say, "we're all just people," with all the imperfections that implies. Somehow, we have, so far, always found ways to survive despite them, to muddle through... And yet, #WeCanDoBetter #WeCanAlwaysDoBetter #WeMustDoBetter.

If you were president you were going to help me with my student loan debt. Paid $20K on a $35K student loan......and guess what, my loan is $38K. That's right. The $20K I paid is just the interest. The principal increases as I slowly die from trying to pay it. fucking angry.

Each of us is a flower that contributes to the overall beauty of the garden. The splendor of the garden comes from its variety. And if the roses weren't thriving, we would want to know what's happening to the roses so we could bring them back to their full glory.

It is that we are all connected which becomes clear when set aside judgements and taught beliefs. To the physical eye we are all individual islands, in reality when we look under the waterline of perception we are truly one!
