I keep thinking about what might have happened to me, a white woman, if I had fallen asleep at a drive-through line at Wendy’s. I think it’s reasonable to assume that given the seriousness of the offense I might have gotten...a ticket.

I'm a white woman, and generally, if I'm pulled over for, say, going 10-15 miles above the speed limit, I'm let off with a warning. I don't even get a ticket. Once I couldn't even find my proof of insurance, and the officer told me not to worry about it. #BlackLivesMatter

No you would have been arrested for a DUI cus you were drunk when you passed out in the drive through Then you would have been sent to a treatment program, lost your license for a short time and have to pay a shit ton of fines But you most likely would NOT have been shot!
