2/ Over the last few years the media has created a situation in which such unimportant things are played like they’re a huge big deal (just for ratings), so that when an actual huge big deal comes along people can’t see the difference between that and Justin Bieber’s new haircut.

In New York City Housing Projects staff and contractors ride elevators without masks. @NYCHA projects are vortices of the pandemic. Also would be nice to advise tenants to wear them too. Maybe notices taped to hallway walls? Oh and to cover noses. @NYCMayor @NYGovCuom
