3/ Many changes are long overdue. But they represent such dramatic shift in the minds of so many that it behooves us to be patient & magnanimous, even towards those who were neither of those things towards us. Change takes time to process & people need to feel safe as they do it.

4/ That doesn't mean we should slow down!! No! We need to keep persevering, never letting up, especially now that the fruits of our fervor are beginning to appear. But on a personal level, the more loving & peaceful we keep the protests, the less chance of a backlash in Nov.

Born? It's at least an adolescent! We have been multicultural multiethnic multisexual for years. Did you just crawl out from under a rock? We're already there .sweetheart. The problem is that .. that is not enough. What is being "born" is in Seattle and we're all watching live.

If you want to see what this looks like, go to Facebook I Love Kent page and watch the peaceful protest happening now in the 10th most diverse city in the US. It's beautiful.

We've never even seen violence at the intensity we've seen in these riots. "Wow! How cool!"

Unfortunately, we are being moved in all those directions not for a new creative destiny but for genocide and control.

The problem is that those who control the prevailing common wisdom believe in the religion of capitalism and use nativism to justify fascism among the rural populists.
