As long as progressives call for open borders and support illegal aliens jumping our fence you weaken, not strengthen citizenship. Come legally, obey our laws, contribute to our society. Kneel for the flag. Stand for our anthem. That’s a good start.
1/ Citizenship should be a more significant factor in our lives, seen as a more meaningful part of a well lived life. The protests are awakening many people to the importance of the role of citizen, particularly to using our voices and power in service to the wellbeing of others

I know that’s the propaganda you’ve been exposed to, but I’ve never heard one progressive suggest “open borders.” And I don’t think the Founders wanted us to “kneel for the flag.” That’s a little creepy actually.
