1/ In Minneapolis, Seattle and elsewhere it’s obvious that many police simply aren’t taking their orders from their mayor - perhaps even from their chief. Trump said “overwhelming force” & “dominate the streets,” and to them he’s the boss.

Corporate interests not only have heavily influenced a profit making , destructive criminal justice system, most of our lawmakers are in their pockets and influenced by their lobbyists to pass laws in their favor . Talk about the source of the problem, not just the side effect

As you suggest the problem is deep. The overriding factor is the Demos are in panic mode, hence this farce of demonstrations. The Demos have to ensure that Trump cannot hold rallies where 20K-30K people attend and listen and will vote republican. That is Demo strategy.

It's also disgusting that it takes people like Mattis to forcefully condemn Trump's actions and threatened actions. #DemocraticParty leadership should be screaming at the top of their lungs. But they're not.
