The reason the protests are important is because the longer they go on, the more pressure there is on the system to actually make fundamental changes. As long as they’re peaceful, it only shows the abusiveness of the system when police attack protesters.#staysafe

Agreed, but saddened that the protests will cause huge spikes in #COVID19. Very hard to stay safe amid these conditions.

That’s one of the reasons more older people are not there. If it weren’t for Covid, the crowds would be even much bigger.
