I don’t mean to sound corny but I’m so proud of my fellow Americans today. So many are protesting, and the overwhelming majority are peaceful. (I just hope everyone is registered!!) We’re on our way. A change is coming. We’ve seized the moment and we won’t let go.

Voting in more democrats is not the way to change. Democrats and Republicans have ruled for hundreds of years, they're supposed to get us out of the mess they put us in? #VoteGreen and help #DraftJesse for green party nomination. change.org/p/green-party-of-…

Marianne, we know electoralism is NOT the answer. The fact is many of these protestors are youth and they're probably not registered or vote. And why should they? These protests are breaking out in Dem controlled cities and states. Who would we tell them to vote for?

You lose me when you differentiate between peaceful and non-peaceful protesters. Also, pivoting to “voting” during all this seems to miss the plot.

I am also very proud of our fellow Americans, particularly our young people. They have shown commitment and courage. “We gotta get down to Electric Avenue. And then we’ll take it higher.” — Eddy Grant
