1/ A fraction of work done by police require guns & the use of brute force. Vast majority of it would better be done by social workers, non-violent communicators and citizen patrols. We should stop mocking such ideas as ridiculous and instead start asking how to make them happen.

2/ Police training today, in addition to being ridiculously short compared to other countries, involves no real peace-keeping skills. Our police need to schooled in the ways of soul force & in a much different kind of brute force. They need to be actual "keepers of the peace."

All these kids were protesting overfunding of police today. They WILL replace police calls for mental health issues, will not have them in their schools.... they will reform how we use police.
