1/ A fraction of work done by police require guns & the use of brute force. Vast majority of it would better be done by social workers, non-violent communicators and citizen patrols. We should stop mocking such ideas as ridiculous and instead start asking how to make them happen.

2/ Police training today, in addition to being ridiculously short compared to other countries, involves no real peace-keeping skills. Our police need to schooled in the ways of soul force & in a much different kind of brute force. They need to be actual "keepers of the peace."

What you say is 100% true. But our overlords (aka political, corporate leaders) aren't interested in our healing & empowerment. In fact, they go out of their way to prevent general welfare of our people. Big people powered movements are path forward, imho. #mpp @4aPeoplesParty
