I wish I could say I’m shocked. I’m horrified but no longer shocked. Clearly the word has gone out at the highest levels that nationwide protests, even peaceful ones, will not be tolerated. This is not just an attack on our people, it’s an attack on our Constitution. #VoteThemOut

Sadly Trump's only opponent is a career politician who not only supported strongly the awful "anti-crime" bill of the 80's, but was also a huge supporter of Reagans drug war & went out of his way to sponsor a "police officers bill of rights" soon after the Rodney King beating.

Yeah, well. No one knows better than I what that was all about. I was inside the belly of the beast for a year. But I’m still going to do whatever I have to do to feel like I’ve done my part to get Trump out of the White House. To me there’s no moral equivalence there.

If he’s talking about Asheville NC, that’s not true. They deployed tear gas when some protesters were throwing fireworks & being aggressive.

SCREW THE CONSTITUTION. IT PROTECTS NO ONE.

The precious Constitution was written by and for wealthy white people alone. Therefore, people must recognize that going forward this is not the instrument that will ever effect any needed change. None of the three branches ruled by this instrument are ever going to do anything.
Vote out the GOP cronies and the Wasserman Schultzs of congress

It's been an attack on our constitution. It's just getting coverage now that things came to a head.
