The opinion editor of the New York Times should publicly apologize at the very least. Publishing Tom Cotton’s op ed was not just publishing “a different opinion.” It gave voice to a call for the military takeover of the United States of America. WTF doesn’t even begin to cover it

Just tried to cancel my NY Times subscription. Online chat disconnected. Called the subscription number. Put on hold. Then disconnected. But I won’t give up until I cancel given their extreme bias against Bernie and their unconscionable treatment of Tara Reade.

I completely agree with you, Marianne.

They publish op eds by the Taliban, Putin etc. It's an opinion, which is held by many conservatives. By shutting out minority opinions (this is more than a minority opinion), you trap yourself in a partisan echo chamber, which I would argue the NYT has already become.

Well, it wasn’t the worst thing they’ve published. This is actual pro-Hitler nytimes.com/1941/06/22/archi…

Somebody was paid off for that... we all know it

Now do the NYT's publishing of an op ed by literally the deputy leader of the Taliban spreading his propaganda..

Ignorance is bliss. Our government structure has a built in check and balances and a "military takeover" will not hapen in a blink of an eye. It is the duty of jouralist to be fair on publishing opinions, afterall they published this: nytimes.com/2020/02/20/opini…

I am a subscriber for @nytimes and I disagree with him, but unpublishing those opinions would not simply make them disappear, especially something from a US senator. Publish them, let your reader argue, and decide where to land on.
