I agree with reparations but that’s a cartoonish number. Our entire country doesn’t have that much money. We can’t just print unlimited money either.

At this point, I don’t think it’s about the number so much. That can be worked out. It’s about getting the idea of reparations to the point where it’s a viable political possibility.

I'm for it not only because of the centuries of injustice but because it would be an awesome way of redistributing wealth in this country—which if we don't do soon we'll turn into Saudi Arabia: palaces for the 1% and tents for everyone else.
