So when various mayors say they truly understand and respect peaceful protesters - yet then their own police get violent toward those protesters - does this mean the mayors do not have control of their police forces? Actions speak louder than words.

All mayors fear their police force more than any other organized group.

so when various active they truly understand and respect people's safety and property yet their own protesters commit arson and violence does that mean the organizers of the protests dont' have control of their people. actions speak louder than words See how easy that is?

Throwing projectiles at@police, shooting off fireworks into a large crowd are not peaceful protest. Violence and vandalism must be stopped. If you don’t understand that, you are part of the problem. Every life is valuable.

Defund all police (maybe except homicide)and invest that money in healthcare. Let communities police themselves. Send all cops to work in meat plants, I heard for Trump they are completely safe.

"A protester shot my sister. It was not the police. Because of you, I lost my sister." Davenport, Iowa. (Two killed. Two others, including a police officer were also shot.) H/T @stillgray

To those who keep saying, "Oh, no rioters!" I ask, how many times have police committed murder, many times shown on camera?
