Well, money is one thing, but this is only money. Racism ultimately has to be settled as a matter of the heart. The plan you suggest is likely to get bogged down in squabbles over who gets how much, who’s paying for it, etc. Better to be “my brothers keeper” on a personal level.

I think it might be a little bit too narrow to just focus on money. When you damage the spirit of a culture, money isn’t all that it takes to bring it back. It’s skills, esteem, education, and programs teaching all of those

As you can see from the replies its not considered enough by many, and trying to implement such a plan is a nightmare to even consider. Would you make these kinds of suggestions in regard to Native Americans and the land that was taken from them? What $ amount is it worth?
