1/ A friend told me tonight we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. No we don’t. There has been enough talk. We do not need a forum or another commission. We need a total and complete mea culpa and a serious plan of reparations with a big enough number put on the table.

2/ Nor do we need any more politicians wringing their hands and saying we really do need to address systemic racism, without having the courage to offer an real solutions. We don’t need you to condemn police brutality; we need you to stop it.

3/ Police brutality is the tip of the iceberg. Our criminal justice system is brutal. Educational system withholding resources from the poor is brutal. Environmental policies in black neighborhoods is brutal. Brutality towards blacks is laced into the system now and it must stop.

Listening to Pelosi this morning and her rhetoric, sounded like she's going to "means test" a Revolution and didn't skip a beat to shout out big Pharma..

they thought an arrest and a half-ass charge was going to be enough to stop it. are they getting the message yet? we want real change now and we mean it. no more empty words.

Could you imagine how much money there would be if we removed the corrupt public servants who fail to up hold their oath of office (which is a federal crime) and use their money and assets for this.

Marianne love you, but we need a truth and reconciliation as part of a comprehensive reform on racism. The US government needs to come clean on all the ways they systematically oppressed communities of color. More urgently though, we need policy changes to stop the killings.

It's not just about George Floyd. This wouldn't be happening to such an extent if people were respected and cared for in the middle of all this. Give the people a UBI, universal healthcare, rent freezes, rather than handing that money to people who don't NEED it at all.
