Easy to dismiss violence when you’re not hurt by it. Not your home or business so you don’t care.

What's happening now is a repeat of every other time during the past 300+ years that Black people had reached their limit with this country's despicable treatment of us.

They are decrying violence, while also deploying every means of state-sanctioned violence at their disposal. The police started this violence and they are perpetuating it. Government officials calling in the national guard are committing violence. Systemic violence is violence!

This country has accumulated hundreds and hundreds of atrocities during almost 300 years since the first Europeans came to the East Coast and started to commit unspeakable deeds with the natives, with the blacks, the Chinese, the Japanese, etc etc.

Thank U @marwilliamson Not enough ppl speaks abt the bottom of this & other issues. Understanding this is crucial @ fixing. What we are experiencing is the reaction after many “incidents” & many yrs of not addressing the issue frm it’s actual cause And some say no to reparations?
