Majority of policepeople are good & decent public servants. Ones I know are as politically aware of what’s going on in this country as is anyone else. Let’s include them in our prayers today. The situation is very complicated, very dangerous. Let’s pray that love & peace prevail.

What power do you think they have? If you haven’t stopped it, what makes you think they could stop it? Do you think it’s as simple as filling out an HR report?

It’s as simple as physically removing a fellow officer from the neck of an innocent. It’s as simple as turning your weapon on an officer abusing theirs. It’s as simple as policing your colleagues like you police black people.

I don’t disagree with you there. I think the men who were there with Chauvin should be tried as accomplices to a murder. But the larger point remains the same.

Just think about that, all four officers on the scene were bad cops, even without Chauvin there to demonstrate that fact, they were still bad cops because their natural response wasn’t to turn on a fellow officer. This is the point that should affect your viewpoint.
