Majority of policepeople are good & decent public servants. Ones I know are as politically aware of what’s going on in this country as is anyone else. Let’s include them in our prayers today. The situation is very complicated, very dangerous. Let’s pray that love & peace prevail.

But it’s true. None of this is simple. I do believe the police have been infiltrated by white supremacists and I have not been afraid to say it. But that absolutely does not mean that every policeman is a white supremacist and I think it’s important to remember that too.

But just about every one has been enabling them. As the saying goes, if you’re silent at injustice, you are with the oppressor.

You don’t know that. You don’t know the numbers. You’re just assuming that. It’s no different than defining any other group by their shadow element.

Of course. Integrity matters. Say the truth, not just what sounds good at the moment. We shouldn't lump good cops with bad ones.
You mean infiltrated by white racist liberals? They’ve done nothing for Blacks but pimp the race baiters out when elections roll around.
The argument isn't that every single policeman is a goon, but that the institution of US policing is flawed in design and execution, and thus needs reorganization. The general argument against policing in America isn't about individuals but the institution and what acts it breeds

It’s not the right time to talk about good cops. There needs to be serious police reform. The union is way too powerful. Not the right time to talk about the good cops. Pause, an innocent man was brutally murdered.
You are right, none of this is simple, yet you managed to reduce it to simplistic terms Until all cops speak up against the so-called bad cops, then NONE of them are good, Marianne. We were at this point many years ago and we need you to catch up if you want to influence opinion

Good point; I'm sure there's a lot of good priests too, who willfully fail to report the rampant sexual exploitation of children by others in their midst.

Making blanket generalizations massively over simplifies what is a complex situation.

The police always were white supremacists. They were formed to catch slaves and were converted to create new slaves when the 13th amendment passed and restricted slavery to convicts.
