Majority of policepeople are good & decent public servants. Ones I know are as politically aware of what’s going on in this country as is anyone else. Let’s include them in our prayers today. The situation is very complicated, very dangerous. Let’s pray that love & peace prevail.

Which public do they serve? What values do they uphold? Police are good and decent at maintaining economic and racial inequality and they always have been.

Yes. However, if at least some police had marched hand in hand with the protesters things would be totally different.

Ok, not all cops are bad, and not all white ppl are racist, but "not all black people" too. We need to stop using stats that attempt to justify racist behaviour if we want to say "not all police" and "not all white people" Given the stats: if I was black, I'd fear *all* cops.
