Derek Chauvin is now in custody. The long journey to justice is beginning to unfold. I was impressed by speeches made by the Mayor of Minneapolis and the Governor of Minnesota. Important to acknowledge all those who are trying to do the right thing. Kudos to those who are.

An arrest is just like putting a bandaid on cancer. The cancer has to be rooted out at the molecular level. Until this country renounces the Doctrine of Discovery 1493 and removes all vestiges of its influence on our laws/legal system no amount of tinkering will have any effect.
