Derek Chauvin is now in custody. The long journey to justice is beginning to unfold. I was impressed by speeches made by the Mayor of Minneapolis and the Governor of Minnesota. Important to acknowledge all those who are trying to do the right thing. Kudos to those who are.

This isn’t enough to celebrate. There hasn’t been “justice” in a single one of these racist cop murder cases. We need to be real and not get our hopes up for anything. Now 3rd degree charges? It was cold-blooded MURDER. We’ve seen this movie before + we know how it ends. 💔😞

Why are you all not talking about @amyklobuchar hands in this. She neglected to prosecute the main police officer involved!

Joe Biden just told Don Lemon that Charlamagne baited him into saying the "you ain't black" statement.

Still, that's not the solution. This police officer is simply a victim of a system. Change the system, the environment will change, & the parenting will change on both sides. They need to stop opposing African-Americans to the Caucasians. That's the beginning of a real solution.

Not the black mayor of the Atlanta? Although I disagreed with minor liberal talking points, the overall gist of her speech was golden. We need more tough but loving types like her in leadership.

But you can’t turn a blind eye to what is not being done and what the POTUS is fomenting. #TrumpResignNow
