1/ For years many of us said, “We’ve got to change this guys, or the country is going to blow. People will only take oppression for so long.”Unheeded, the warning went unheard. We’re past containment now; things have blown up, as anyone really looking would have predicted.

2/ As with any crisis it’s never just about one thing. This isn’t just about George Floyd. It’s also about thousands of others who preceded him, who got no justice and received no mercy. America needs to fall to its knees now, to apologize, to pay reparations, to commit to change

3/ And no Mr. President those who protest are not thugs. To protest is their Constitutional right. They’re doing all that has been left for them to do. It is America that has failed them & not the other way around. Should they be peaceful? YES! And so should you be. So should you

America has failed over and over and over again to hear the cry of racial injustice. It is time to gather....To rise up, speak out, and step in. May our actions be fueled by the power of love and the conviction for justice.

Marianne I feel like this president and his administration have their knee on all of our necks. I feel like Trump has his knee on the neck of this country

Free speech is your right. Damaging your own property is your right. Damaging others property is wrong, short sighted and makes recovery even more difficult. The Trump supporters and the POTUS are not against the roiters but we do not cheer on the destruction in MSP.

But you constantly speak of humility , forgiveness and the heart ? Violence has created the problem and more violent acts do not heal it. You are condoning reactionary violence and destruction now ?
