I have an argument with a friend where I support free college, Medicare4All, Green New Deal etc. & she tells me we need an "incremental approach;" that such things are "too far left." I tell her they're centrist in Europe. She says "We're not Europe." I bang my head against a wall

An “incremental approach,” hmmmm. How’s that been working the past few months?...Not so good.

I have had this conversation over and over again since 2015. People are used to being abused by our government and they enjoy what they know: their comfort zone of abuse

Your friend is right ... America isn't Europe .. it's a failed state with nuclear capability...and I'm very glad I don't live there ..

How many great things happened incrementally? Abolition of slavery? Women's right to vote? Social security? Medicare? Workers' rights? Let's leave incrementalism for new smart phones and laptops, not for fixing our broken systems.

It’s frustrating because they have a different collective consciousness over their that appprecistes the human and environmental value of life, without which an economy can’t exist, more so than self interest. Raising collective consciousness is the way & your truth will prevail!

Don't bang your head. SOCIALISM Is the USA ready for ; 25% VAT (Sales tax) 50% average income tax How much of every dollar earned will go to Uncle Sam ? And then state income tax and excise taxes on top of that. Then make sure you vote for democratic socialist.

One who bangs her head against the wall is being a NO-it-all... one who is a know-it-all says "NO" to all that contrasts what she espouses

“We’re not Europe.” I can’t w/ ppl like this. 😩 Why are ppl so against their own interest in this country?! We need radical change just to be centrist relative to the rest of the first world.
