I have an argument with a friend where I support free college, Medicare4All, Green New Deal etc. & she tells me we need an "incremental approach;" that such things are "too far left." I tell her they're centrist in Europe. She says "We're not Europe." I bang my head against a wall

I think when you have corporate money preventing progress at our expense and their gain we can never realize enough incremental change. Also, with climate and ecosystem collapse, we don't have time for it really.

Hey as painful as it might be to argue these points it is needed desperately, they don't know anything about the topics, educate them :)

There are many strange democrats who all say they want one thing, then try for something not as good in an effort to appease people who won't be convinced anyway. And they still get beat. I don't understand it. I wish they'd just admit they don't really care about those things.

Neolibs used the exact same excuse in the early 90's, too. Have been using it for almost 30 yrs. Its BS

Free College is not free, unless you are suggesting the prof and staff work for free. You need to talk to @yaronbrook or @PeterSchiff , you know, ppl who actually knows this type of stuff before having such confidence in your opinion. Also don't bang your head, it's dangerous.

I think the gap is in the concept of currency. Free assumes that there is a an abundance of labor. Who's labor?

Imagine trying to convince people you want deregulation less military spending and more stock/corporate capitalism with healthcare for all and free education and UBI... part of me sounds like a republican part of me like a democrat part of me is innovation. Take yourself back.
