I have an argument with a friend where I support free college, Medicare4All, Green New Deal etc. & she tells me we need an "incremental approach;" that such things are "too far left." I tell her they're centrist in Europe. She says "We're not Europe." I bang my head against a wall

Marianne, we have soooooo many crazies controlled by the wealthy, they will scream communist at any one of those. Being that we are such a tender firestarting spot, I'm for steps

Marianne, yes we're not Europe but, those things are not "too far left". Even if we made laws for all of those things today, the actual implementation procedure would be done incrementally. So, you're both right and wrong.

We don’t have time for “incremental approach”. If we think this is bad, wait until irreversible climate change hits, and it’s just around the corner...!

Round and round and round you go...a perfect circle. Sorry, but your friend is obviously not too bright.

Incremental change is easier to pass and easier to take away. That's how we get nowhere for decades.

Screw "to far left". Can't we just help all people with free Health Insurance and free Education. Costs are through the roof and families are so Stressed dealing with it.

Don't bang your head against a wall - in this scenario, *yours* is the valuable one.
