I have an argument with a friend where I support free college, Medicare4All, Green New Deal etc. & she tells me we need an "incremental approach;" that such things are "too far left." I tell her they're centrist in Europe. She says "We're not Europe." I bang my head against a wall

Every other developed country has health care. My 87 yr old dad just had open heart/ bypass surgery. 2+ weeks in hospital. He is not bankrupt. He did not have to wait for surgery. Bill = $0.00 dollars. He got excellent care. Surgery was totally successful. He is coming home!

Start a mutual aid society. There is no justification to force others to pay for things you want to exist.

No we’re not Europe, Europe pays 1/4-1/2 what we do on healthcare and they live healthier, longer lives

You can't leap over a crevasse in small steps. Only a giant leap can do it.

I heard you in ATL at Hillside... you spoke about how we do have money for all these things you just tweeted about... how can we get “defense” trillions to go for People First??

Incremental is not good enough. There was a chance for Incremental but they wasted that opportunity. They were all too concerned with insider trading, becoming multi millionaires, unnecessary wars, and working with lobbyists instead of taking care of the people through technology

Not all of Europe has socialized healthcare. That is a leftist myth.
