American and Delta Airlines were both part of the $25B bailout to the airline industry and both announced big layoffs today. What am I missing...?

Yes and I was under the impression that they were to use that money to pay their employees while they were not able to work because of the low demand for flights. So where did that money go and are they paying them even after they’re laid off? Good question
