Our legislators have no clue about real life. It’s unbelievable to me that these bailouts occurred.

I do believe that they were prohibited from doing layoffs before today by the terms of the bailouts :-(

The package stipulated they couldn't lay off workers until September. From what I read, they are preparing their employees for that reality. They are basically downsizing due to lack of demand.
