What you're missing is the Democrats response - and you're not going to get it unless they're forced to. They're not trying to do good by the people, they're just trying to be just a little better than the Republicans so as to make it a competition.

Any notion of economics. If the companies fold, everybody loses their jobs. If the company is responsible, only some people lose their jobs. The world is a hard place, Marianne. No amount of smelling salts and magic crystals will help that.
