American and Delta Airlines were both part of the $25B bailout to the airline industry and both announced big layoffs today. What am I missing...?

The Government, the Airlines & the Corporate Oligarchy is ONLY interested in making the Rich, Richer and in making Wage Slaves out of the Working Class and Poor. We need to VOTE BASED ON POLICY NOT PARTY. Let's VOTE AGAINST ALL INCUMBENTS REGARDLESS OF PARTY NOV 3, 2020.

That this was clearly a feature of the bailouts, not a bug. No employee protections were put in the bill. The airlines bought back stock to artificially inflate stock, and now need to reduce costs to maintain that bubble. #Bailout corruption at its finest.

For companies that size, $25 billion is a drop in the bucket. I really wish people knew how businesses works! Their operating costs, payroll, benefits, taxes, debt far exceeds what they received. That said, I wouldn’t have given them a dime!

No layoffs at Delta today. An enhanced retirement and a voluntary opt out option were rolled out to employees this morning.

Why do you keep bailing these companies out? You need to let them fail
