“Please. I can't breathe.” These were some of George Floyd’s last words before he died. We need an investigation into the practices of the Minneapolis Police Department. And the officers involved must be held accountable—not just fired from their jobs. #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd

The problem is more systemic than this, Senator, and I assume you know that. We need to investigate more than Minneapolis. There’s a bigger story here and we need to stop pretending to ourselves that there’s not.

I believe we’re on a precipice of an unpredictable reaction to George Floyd’s murder. Flames 🔥 of anger, pain, frustration, and suffering will boil over and hurt a lot of innocent people. Cool 😎 heads are needed here...But there is reason to keep looking to the past, for truth.

Back off. Kamala's in FULL CONTROL of her faculties, w/a stellar background of experience 2 prove & support it. Stay out of the investigative/prosecutorial/black experience arena, please. U have become even more self-righteous, arrogant af, proving ur unqualified candidacy.

I’m glad you assume she knows and has DONE more to reform and dismantle systemic issues in the criminal justice system than you have because that would be accurate. She does and has.

Yes Marriane this problem is country wide. This problem digs even deep when it corrupts Medical Examiners and District Attorney's and last Attorney Generals.

Agree completely. However, I think that setting precedent could go a long way. We've yet to see an instance where white officers are fully held accountable for murdering citizens.

Duh! Marianne where is your history? America is racist. Prosecute murder of people by pigs. Nothing is new here. You have never had an answer. Get to work.
