Marianne, I just wanted to tell you how much you've inspired me by sharing Kidd's story and the concept of going from being anti-slavery to being an abolitionist. Now more than ever those of us who are conscious have to turn our indignation into ACTION.
@ChuckModi1 was kind enough to meet us "At The Crossroads" to discuss what needs to be done to end white supremacy. Being disgusted then passing the potatoes isn't gonna cut it. *The book I mentioned is 'The Invention of Wings' by Sue Monk Kidd, recommended by @marwilliamson 🕊

Can you imagine his family trying to deal with his death? Images and video repeated over. Tragic. Agreed. The police need to be accountable, charged and not reinstated. @MayorFrey do the right thing and help his family at their time of sorrow.

I think he knew what he was doing. The physically weak, emotionally unstable, big ego & power tripper persons should never be in the military, police or any position of power.

My heart aches. These officers had every opportunity to STOP this behavior & to prevent George Floyd's death. They CHOSE not to. THAT is murder.
